Hummingbird Interlude

This year my Crocosmia and Yucca plants’ flowers are a magnet for our resident Anna’s Hummingbirds.

Took these from my dining room window and as you can see they move so fast my camera just can’t keep up. If I experimented with the settings maybe the photos would be better. However, when the birds are visible one goes with what one has.

Wings are moving so fast they become a blur

As I reviewed all the photos I found one where I captured two of them. Check out the second hummy who is flying away. I assume the one sitting on a branch has seniority.

There are two!!!

Then there is the hummingbird shadow. Easier to see that outline silhouette than the actual bird.

Me and My Shadow

Just another serendipity moment in life to be shared.
