That yellow blur in the photo above is a bird.
Walking around Seahurst Park yesterday I saw flashes of yellow in the green brush. This little bird was moving fast and did not sit still for a second. Hence photography was next to impossible.. or so I thought.
I kept after the prize by waiting patiently for him to show himself again and again. Over and over he was faster than my trigger finger. YIKES!!
I did take a few distant photos when he was hopping around in the ferns but did not have much hope.
That is until I got home and looked at the pictures for transfer. Here are the five photos of an American Goldfinch. He is a beauty that was calling and singing for a girl and he flirted around the brier.
