That Yellow Elusive Little Bird

That yellow blur in the photo above is a bird.

Walking around Seahurst Park yesterday I saw flashes of yellow in the green brush. This little bird was moving fast and did not sit still for a second.  Hence photography was next to impossible.. or so I thought.

I kept after the prize by waiting patiently for him to show himself again and again. Over and over he was faster than my trigger finger.  YIKES!!

I did take a few distant photos when he was hopping around in the ferns but did not have much hope.

That is until I got home and looked at the pictures for transfer.  Here are the five photos of an American Goldfinch.  He is a beauty that was calling and singing for a girl and he flirted around the brier.
