While we are all holed up at home the natural world is in the midst of her spring transformation. Since I retired last year and now quarantined due to the virus I have paid more attention to my little floating garden than years past.

Long before we had ever heard of Wuhan China, in the early fall I bought new tulip bulbs and planted them. What a delight they have become as every day we get to follow their growth.

Today I was surprised how much things are unfurling outside. It had only been two days since I last reviewed of my garden’s troops.  Recent days I have been sewing up face masks and ignored my little soldiers.
