Crow Preening a Family Affair

Checking out the Crow Bath on Fauntleroy Creek I found this family of crows preening. They had just visited the bathing area on the other side of the Ferry Dock.

This ritual of making sure every feather is in place and perfect is just as important as the actual dip into the pool.

I took two short videos of them getting their sleek black feathers up to crow standards.
