I am sad to say the two crocus we were following are now gone!  Yes in just two days they are now pedals on the ground.

My suspicion is the squirrels knocked some of them off but it could have been weather since we did have a bit of rain and light winds.  We won’t really know but in the end they are done.

However, there are two new stars to add in their place and a surprise new species that we will start to follow.

These two are lovely solid colors of white & dark purple. Check out their striped skinny foliage.

Next we have the surprise contestant.  I planted a new batch of these since they die out over the years unlike the daffies and crocus who tend to just make lots of babies.
