Magnolia Crows

Look up, listen for the caw or follow that flash of black. That is all it takes to find crows anywhere. That is me always alert to nature’s sights.

Not to be disappointed when I stopped to buy a sandwich to eat at the beach I found this small flock in the store’s parking lot. They were watching the people below from a tree turning fall bright yellow.

I named this pair for the area of Magnolia which is on the northwest side of downtown Seattle. It is home to Discovery Park which was formed from Ft Lawton and the West Point Lighthouse. The city gained most of this property over many years from the US military and US Coast Guard.
