It was a winter day at the Arroyos beach today. Surprising to me it had stopped raining and I had a dry walk with my flock that reside there. The three amigos that you see in the feature picture were escorting me and hoping for some hand outs. This picture highlights what I call the britches. See how they are fluffy and make them look like the Three Musketeers.
The popular trees are getting yellow and one of them flew up and decided it was time to groom.
His feathers are looking good since the molting season is over. Once he was done he turned to look at me. My imagination gave him a few words such as “What are you looking at?” or “Get busy and hand out the peanuts!”
