Today as I walked through Fauntleroy Park I was treated by the morning sun setting this web aglow. Never have I seen anything like this. The spider who wove this is a Sierra Dome Spider. In the next photos and video you can see her at the top center awaiting a meal. Or is she looking for a mate?
The light on the web only lasted about 5 minutes but it was a sight to behold. The light show was all a sparkle with blue and purple. The jewelness of the web is so lovely as the light breezed moved it around in the sunshine.
That is wicked-cool! 🙂 What a fancy catches!
It is all about the sun showing us the treasures. Thanx. R
Wow, it just glistens. So beautiful Robin. You were there at just the right time!
