Listen closely to this video right after the car goes by and you can hear this playful baby crow talking to himself. Like any baby he is putting things in his mouth and tasting them. Several small twigs on this tree are good toys. We get a small window into his learning process as he plays.

He caught my attention because he was making little soft cooing and baby babbling sounds. I filmed him a little bit before Mom decided I wasn’t suppose to be there. You can hear her giving me hell towards the end of the video. She, like all good Crow Moms, makes sure we know she is not happy. If I stayed long enough she might have tried to pull my hair. Don’t think she was that mad but it was best to move along.
