Jakeprinter has selected Vehicle as the topic for the week. At first I wasn’t too inspired but then I remembered our beloved Truck.
Black Betty was our old truck for many years. We just couldn’t give her the love she needed so we sold her last year to a great guy who wanted to do her right.
Years ago I even tried to get Chip Foose to redo her on his show called “Overhauled”. That wasn’t to be.
What I am getting at is our vehicles have a being of their own. That is why we name all of ours. Do you?

Have you ever seen painted cars? There are some people who make their cars a work of art. And what about those folks who take old cars, and make them BEAUTIFUL ago. I LOVE watching those cars go down the road!
I personally have never had that type of relationship with a car. Maybe if I had a truck, I would feel that way. However, I really UNDERSTAND that sort of relationship! I think they are great! 🙂
I have a Ford Edge and we named her Connie. That is from the all american girl song that my hubby sings to me. Then there is Mabel, she is a 1990 Harley. Mabel is a sweet ride just like a good horse.

Oh I know what you mean. I envy you, that you have that kind of “space” in your life, that you can do that. Good on you! A Harley! Oh man, I remember, I do remember… 🙂
