Over at Arbor Heights School I ran into a family of crows that were very distrustful of me.  Even after I fed them they were so scared of me it was sad.

One of them had been banded.  He had a silver or white band on left leg (my facing him left).   That must be why they were so shy.   Now does that prove that they talk to each other?  

Then I walked on down to my local coffee show.. “Bird on a Wire”.     Yes in my neighborhood is a small coffee shop that is crow crazy too.   Here is their signage:
