Beach Perch Tree taken down by landslide

Not much happening at the beach today and about half the local crow families were missing in action.   Hope they are OK since Friday nite the wind howled thru here.  Take a look at the Crows of Arroyos Sightings Map for todays observations.

But the main news was when I went to the beach I found the perch tree on the beach instead of on the bluff.   That tree has given perch to Eagles, Ospery, Blue Herons, Flickers, Sparrows and of course my dear Crow friends.    This is what happens when it rains a lot and the land gets too soft.
